Dozens of vocational trucks, hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles and a wide range of truck equipment will be introduced at The Work Truck Show 2009. More than 60 exhibiting companies have confirmed plans to launch products, services and technology at the event, including new trucks from Dodge, Ford Commercial Truck and Nissan North America.

The Work Truck Show 2009 is held in conjunction with the 45th Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention at the McCormick Place West Building in Chicago, IL, March 46, 2009. The Convention and educational sessions kick off March 3.

“As the largest vocational truck event in North America, The Work Truck Show offers professionals who build, upfit, use or repair vocational trucks and trailers the opportunity to see and compare the latest product developments from hundreds of companies under one roof,” says Andrew Outcalt, NTEA convention chairman and president of Meyer Products LLC and Swenson Spreader LLC (Cleveland, OH).

Show attendees will have the opportunity to drive some of the latest hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles for themselves during the Green Truck Ride-and-Drive on Wednesday, March 4, and Thursday, March 5. There are currently 11 vehicles scheduled for the Ride-and-Drive, including vehicles operating on compressed natural gas, plug-in hybrid electric, battery electric, hydraulic/diesel, propane, dual-mode electric and stored energy management systems.

Companies that will display new trucks, bodies, equipment and other products at The Work Truck Show 2009 include Dodge, Ford Commercial Truck and Nissan North America, as well as:
