ISA Conference and Trade Show going strong in Providence

The 85th Annual International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Conference and Trade Show keeps on rolling today in Providence, R.I. The show began July 24 and runs through July 29.


The International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC) and Arbor Fair were held July 24-25, and official results of the ITCC will be posted to arborage.wpengine.com

The trade show portion of the event kicked off on Sunday and continues through today with more than 100 exhibitors displaying a range of aerial lift trucks, chippers, hand tools, hand saws, chain saws, lowering devices, ropes, saddles, decay detection devices, software programs, grinders, and more.


Educational sessions during the conference have covered topics including worker safety, pest management, wind load assessment, LIDAR and imaging technologies, proper pruning, tree selection and much more.
