Fecon introduced the BH200 Bull Hog mulching attachment for 180- to 600-hp. tractors. The BH200 fits in between Fecon’s BH120 and BH250 models and is the first Bull Hog to incorporate the patented HDT Step Rotor system. The HDT Step Rotor system has both two cutting diameters and a staggered tool pattern for extreme cutting efficiency. The BH200 also incorporates a larger rotor diameter and larger bearings than the BH120, while operating in the power range of the BH250. Additionally, it has a newly designed body that is lighter yet even more severe-duty.
The BH200 can be hydraulically powered with 65 to 200 gpm and up to 6,000 PSI for tractors ranging from 180 to 600 hp. Fixed and variable displacement motor options are available to configure the BH200 to the contractor’s requirements. A PTO version of the BH200 is also available for tractors from 180 to 440 hp. The PTO model includes dual over running clutches in the drive line and a patented pivoting gear box for improved range of motion.
Fecon’s BH200 with HDT Step Rotor can be equipped with four tool options including three carbide options, a knife tool, or a combination of tools. This enables contractors to quickly configure their mulcher to the various conditions of the job at hand. Standard dual-carbide tools provide the greatest all-around reliability and performance for most contractors. Narrow single carbides deliver a faster cut with carbide durability and a more coarse finish, and stone tools provide the greatest durability and wear characteristics against rock and abrasion. A knife tool in the HDT system provides the greatest production capability for jobs with low risk of rock or highly abrasive conditions.
