One of the keynote speakers will be Victor Merullo, an experienced trial attorney with a nationally recognized expertise in arboriculture and neighbor law. He has been in the public and private practice of law for more than 35 years following his graduation from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, with a Juris Doctorate Degree. Vic Merullo served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio with emphasis on drafting legislation in agriculture and horticulture areas. He also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Capital University Law School. He has been a featured speaker or legal issues relating to the Law of Trees across the United States and Canada. He studied horticulture at the Ohio State University while working in his family’s business devoted primarily to arboriculture, interior and exterior landscaping. Vic Merullo is considered the leading expert in the Law of Trees and authored the first publication devoted exclusively to the Law of Trees and co-authored “Arboriculture and the Law”. Vic Merullo is the founder of www.treeandneighborlaw.com, a website designed to provide information and cases needed to resolve liability concern, dispute and other legal requirements involving tree law matters.
