HMI announced that Woodland Tree Service joined its Authorized Member (AM) Network to support HMI’s programs in Memphis, Tennessee. HMI provides property owners, insurers, and others with a full suite of support services for trees and shrubs, including emergency removals, inspections, cause of loss analysis and replacement cost calculations. HMI has established a national network of arborists and professional tree care companies to support these products and services.
This time of year in the South there is always the potential for ice storms, which can cause a tremendous amount of damage. Clean-up can include debris removal, tree trimming, and tree removal as well as assessing damage related to an insurance claim. When a homeowner, commercial business or insurance company needs help, HMI refers them to a member of their AM network, knowing that customers will receive professional, knowledgeable, and ethical service.
“We are pleased to add Woodland Tree Service to our AM network,” said Doug Malawsky, executive vice president and COO of HMI. “They have the most certified arborists on staff in their area which reflects their commitment to quality tree care. As HMI expands its footprint, it is critical to continue to work with only the best tree care companies in any given territory – Woodland allows us to maintain this level of quality in the Greater Memphis market.”
“We are always looking for ways to increase our ability to offer high-quality tree care service,” commented Terran S. Arwood, president of Woodland Tree Service. “HMI can really help us differentiate ourselves in the market. By virtue of being an HMI Authorized Member, we are now recognized as a preferred vendor for close to 20 insurance companies and this will give us a competitive advantage over the low quality companies that traditionally try to underbid professional firms.”
Members of HMI’s AM Network provide property owners with risk mitigation services, tree removal/repair and replacement services, and all other services related to tree loss and damage recovery. Other services include reports to support subrogation actions, and replacement costs for lost trees and shrubs. AM Network members receive work referrals and discounted pricing on HMI’s treeFacts® Reports. In addition, HMI’s treeFacts® Inventory Software is made available exclusively to HMI’s AM Network.
