The Utility Arborist Association (UAA) is seeking candidates for the position of executive director. The executive director is responsible for the overall management of the association as directed by the board of directors, and shall serve as administrator for all association activities. This position is part time, expected to average 20 hours per week and may, over time, develop into a full-time position based on performance. Administrative support is provided.
The UAA is a non-profit membership organization that serves the utility industry. The UAA works to ensure the highest level of quality in utility arboriculture through leadership, education, research, training, and networking. UAA members include managers, foresters, arborists, equipment and herbicide suppliers, engineers, landscape architects, university educators, regulators, and interested individuals. These are the professionals who actively ensure or support the efforts to maintain safe, reliable electric service to customers.
