After several successful races with NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Mike Bliss and TriStar Motorsports, Michigan-based Bandit Industries signed up for an additional three Nationwide Series races with Bliss in the no. 44 BanditChippers.com Toyota, starting with the Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca Cola, which was held July 6 at Daytona.
“We’ve never raced at Daytona, and it means so much to us and our customers to be at the premier American race track for the Fourth of July holiday,” said Travis Lint, large equipment sales manager and NASCAR coordinator for Bandit Industries.
Bandit and Bliss will then team up to attack Bristol on August 24 and close out the NASCAR season at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November. With a string of consistent top-15 finishes, Bliss is currently eighth in the Nationwide Series points race and is poised to move higher.
“At the end of the day, Mike is always there getting it done and that’s why we like racing with him and TriStar Motorsports,” said Lint. “That kind of consistency is something Bandit customers are familiar with, and that’s why we’re excited to be his sponsor for more races.”
