As we head toward winter, the following is a round-up of equipment that can help you handle snow removal and ice management tasks.
Bobcat Snow Pusher Attachment
Collect and push snow – and clear big winter jobs – with the Bobcat snow pusher attachment (pictured above). The open bottom and wide body deliver pure pushing power for maximum snow removal speed and efficiency. And with more collecting and holding capabilities, larger areas can be cleared without stopping as often. Flotation and oscillation of the moldboard keep the snow pusher in contact with the ground without damaging equipment or property, allowing for snow removal over decorative and sensitive surfaces.
Cat 908M compact wheel loader
The Cat M Series compact wheel loaders – 906M, 907M and 908M – feature Caterpillar’s exclusive Optimized Z-bar loader linkage, which combines aggressive digging power with parallel lift. These models use a 75-gross-horsepower engine with an electrically controlled hydrostatic drive system. Electro-hydraulic controls allow for engineering enhancements for the drive system, implement controls, auxiliary hydraulic system and loader linkage. A range of work tools and couplers are available, ensuring optimum versatility and productivity. Valuable options including a high-speed configuration, ride control system and high-flow hydraulics make the M Series compact wheel loaders even more productive in landscaping, agricultural, industrial, snow removal and general construction applications.

SnowWolf introduces all-new, redesigned ProPlowFX
SnowWolf introduced its newly redesigned ProPlowFX, an all-purpose plow that works equally well for snow removal and light dirt moving or landscaping. The versatility of the new attachment is made possible by a semi-floating torsion system that provides infinitely variable down pressure and shock absorption, a trip-lock-out feature and a shorter blade-to-machine distance for greater maneuverability. The ProPlowFX also features automatic oscillation, which is an improvement over the previous design. It allows the attachment to rise or fall up to 5 inches on either end so the plow follows the contours of the surface being plowed and scrapes it clean. In addition, SnowWolf resized the blade to make the ProPlowFX ideal for smaller skid-steers and compact tractors. The attachment is designed for use with machines that weigh up to 8,000 pounds, and it is available in 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-foot lengths. The system also provides built-in shock absorption when traveling between projects.

The Multi Force product line features a snow-only model for snow-focused contractors, as well as two models that come standard with the Turbo Force cutting deck.
Legacy tension fabric buildings feature structural steel frame
Combining rigid-frame engineering with the proven benefits of tension fabric membranes, Legacy Building Solutions offers superior quality fabric structures that are fully customizable. This design concept provides a cost-effective, long-lasting solution for salt and sand storage facilities. Legacy fabric buildings utilize a durable rigid frame in place of the hollow-tube, open web truss “hoop” framing traditionally used for fabric structures. The strength of the structural steel frame provides several engineering advantages, most notably the ability to easily customize buildings to the exact width, length and height required. In addition to long clear spans, the buildings have straight sidewalls that maximize the useable square footage inside the structure. The design allows for much more structural flexibility than traditional fabric structures, including the ability to add lean-tos, mezzanines, sidewall doors and more. The structures are also engineered to provide desired overhangs or handle additional loads for items such as sprinklers and conveyors.
